Honorary Commitee

The Honorary Committee of the Paul Ricard Oceanographic Institute is made up of eminent figures and recognised experts in their respective fields.
They all lend their support and approval to the association's activities, particularly in the field of research.
Chairman of the Honorary Committee: Pr Nardo Vicente

› H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco
› Gilles Boeuf: Biologist, Professor at the Pierre and Marie Curie University, President of the National Museum of Natural History (2009-2015).
› Jean-Claude Chermann: Virologist and co-discoverer of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), which causes AIDS.
› Jean-Louis Etienne: Doctor and polar explorer.
› Admiral Pierre Lacoste: Former Director General of External Intelligence (1982-1985).
› Henry de Lumley: Palaeontologist, corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences and the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres.
