Scientific Communication

Our scientists work with many other organisations, exchanging data, protocols, results and feedback to produce high-quality research.

As such, the Institute’s researchers regularly meet with other specialists from various disciplines and countries. They speak at national fora like Reset (2017) in Marseille, and attend scientific conferences and symposia in France and overseas, such as Aquaculture Europe in Croatia in 2017 and Kotor in Montenegro in 2019.

Since the 1970s, the Institute’s researchers have published close to 250 scientific papers in international journals.

The Institute itself manages and publishes two scientific journals, Marine Life (Vie Marine) since 1979, and the Mémoires de l’Institut océanographique Paul Ricard.
