The Paul Ricard Oceanographic Institute’s agenda at UNOC3 in Nice

The Paul Ricard Oceanographic Institute will be present at UNOC3 in Nice, as well as at events taking place beforehand in Nice and Monaco. In June 2025, more than 10,000 members of the ocean community are expected to attend these major events.

  • 3 to 6 June: One Ocean Science Congress (OOSC)

We will be present at the sessions, notably with the IUCN, to present our Aquabios initiative and the Building climate resilience with blue ecosystems report.

  • 7 June: Coalition Ocean Rise and Coastal Resilience Conference
  • 7 and 8 June: Blue Economy and Finance Forum (BEFF)

Patricia Ricard will be present at the round table ‘Fisheries and Sustainable Aquaculture’ – ‘Scaling What Works – Insights from the Field’

  • 8 June: Women Actions For The Ocean (WAO)

For World Oceans Day, the Women Actions For The Ocean event will continue to highlight concrete solutions and success stories from women from all walks of life in addressing climate change and marine biodiversity loss.

  • 9 to 13 June: United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3)

Participation in numerous events, high-level sessions and film screenings with our partners IUCN, Ocean and Climate Platform, Let’s be nice for the Ocean, Pôle Mer Méditerranée, particularly for Mediterranean Day on 10 June.
